Abstract
We demonstrate foveal hypoplasia by optical coherence tomography (OCT). Observational case report. Foveal hypoplasia was demonstrated in a 79-year-old man with decreased vision since childhood using fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and OCT scans through four meridians of the central foveal. The OCT showed extension of all neurosensory retinal layers through the area in which the fovea would normally be located. Optical coherence tomography can be used to demonstrate foveal hypoplasia.
