Abstract
We evaluated the use of MDCT in the diagnosis and management of lower gastrointestinal bleeding (hematochezia). MDCT is proposed as an alternative first-line investigation to locate lower gastrointestinal bleeding before placing the patient under observation or performing embolization or surgery.
