Abstract
VisRD, a program for visual recombination detection in a sequence alignment is presented. VisRD is written in Java and is designed to complement the multi-purpose phylogenetic software package SplitsTree4. The software is freely available from http://www.lcb.uu.se/~vmoulton/software/visrd/
