Abstract
This chapter discusses the differences in the operation of dual-technique PET/CT compared with conventional PET tomography in clinical practice. Although PET/CT still is a relatively new medical imaging technique, it is becoming the preferred method for body oncology imaging and will play an increasingly important role in molecular imaging in clinical practice. Therefore, it is imperative that facilities learn how to establish a successful PET/CT practice.
