Abstract
Our purpose was to evaluate the feasibility of sonography in identifying nerve abnormalities in patients with traction injury of the brachial plexus. Sonography of the brachial plexus was technically feasible, although the entire brachial plexus could not be evaluated. Sonography appears to be a useful bedside imaging technique for assessing brachial plexus injury. The potential of sonography as a complementary diagnostic tool in the evaluation of these patients warrants further investigation.
