Abstract
BMapBuilder builds maps of pairwise linkage disequilibrium (LD) in either two or three dimensions. The optimized resolution allows for graphical display of LD for single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in a whole chromosome. The program is coded in Java, which runs on all relevant operating systems, including Windows, Mac and Unix/Linux, and is available from http://bios.ugr.es/BMapBuilder.
