Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate inferior venacavograms at the time of inferior vena cava (IVC) filters for clot within filter, IVC stenosis, or IVC injuries. Abnormal venographic findings at filter retrieval include clot in the filter, IVC stenosis, and minor IVC injury after filter retrieval. Most abnormalities decrease or resolve over time.
