Abstract
To describe a situation in which an opioid-dependent patient overcame naltrexone blockade. DESIGN, CASE REPORT, SETTING: Addiction treatment center in St Petersburg, Russia. Patient with naltrexone implant. Detoxification. Clinical observations. It is possible, but very difficult, to overcome naltrexone blockade by using large doses of heroin.
