Abstract
The purpose of this article is to illustrate the varying appearances of fat necrosis on MRI. Fat necrosis may mimic malignancy with varying appearances on MRI. Suspicious morphologic and kinetic features may be present, necessitating biopsy to exclude new or recurrent breast cancer.
