Teaching medical students about imaging techniques.

Abstract

This article reviews major themes about imaging techniques with which all educators should be familiar. A high-quality introduction to radiologic techniques should provide a basic framework to make good use of radiology in caring for patients. Tomorrow's physicians will need to make effective and efficient use of new imaging techniques. The responsibility for preparing them to do so rests squarely on the shoulders of today's radiology educators.
