Abstract
The purposes of this essay are to outline MDCT angiographic techniques for the evaluation of the mesenteric arterial vasculature and to review anatomic variants depicted on MDCT angiograms. MDCT angiography has distinct advantages over conventional angiography in imaging of the mesenteric arterial vasculature.
