Abstract
Privacy, respect, unhurried treatment, comfort of human touch, empathic and knowledgeable responses, solicitous handling of care givers, and an organized and orderly environment are ingredients for a pleasant surgical experience. The author contends that patients evaluate not only "results," but also amenities. Here, she provides guidelines for enhancing patient satisfaction. (Aesthetic Surg J 2002;22:305-306.).
