Abstract
Mechanical dermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing have been used to improve the appearance of scarred, sun damaged, and aging skin. Each modality has its proponents, and some surgeons use all of these techniques in a variety of circumstances. A. Jay Burns, MD, and James W.
