Abstract

The equinocavovarus deformity that results from tibialis posterior musculotendinous contracture poses a treatment challenge that has few reliable conservative or surgical remedies. In this techniques report, the author describes a tibialis posterior recession procedure that uses the sequential use of topographic anatomical landmarks, which can be useful in correcting contracture of the tibialis posterior musculotendinous unit.
