Abstract
During treatment with cholestyramine for high concentrations of cholesterol, extensive loss of dental enamel occurred in a young boy. This outcome is thought to be attributed to mixing the cholestyramine in Kool-Aid and swirling the mixture in the mouth before swallowing.
