Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans of the breast: imaging features and review of the literature.

Abstract

The objective of our study was to present the imaging features, including an MRI example, of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans of the breast, an uncommon soft-tissue neoplasm of the breast, and review the literature. Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is an extremely rare malignancy of the breast, with few published reports. This is the largest collection of such cases in a single institution with analysis of the imaging features.
