Abstract
Recent developments in microsurgery have provided new approaches to the management of severe injuries of the upper extremities. Free vascularized autotransplants used in the treatment of severe hand and forearm injuries have provided significant advantages over conventional methods, in terms of both treatment and functional outcomes. These advances have reduced the treatment time and provided more effective treatment for patients.
