Abstract
Three cases of idiopathic hematoma are reported for the first time. The disease presented with clinical symptoms of epididymitis and was unsuccessfully treated with antibiotics. The persistence of the symptoms and the suspicion of tumor led to the removal of the lesioned epididymides. The etiology of these hematomas and their differential diagnosis in relation with other benign processes of the epididymis are discussed.
