Abstract
The patient was a 54-year-old man who was currently serving in the military. He was evaluated by a physical therapist in a direct-access capacity for a chief complaint of left elbow pain that began 3 weeks prior. The physical therapist ordered radiographs, which revealed a linear lucency through a large enthesophyte at the insertion of the triceps tendon on the olecranon process that was consistent with a fracture.
