Abstract
Surgery plays an important role in the management of Chiari I malformation. The purpose of this article is to review expected and unexpected MRI findings after the various types of surgery performed during the treatment of Chiari I malformation and associated abnormalities. Familiarity with optimal MRI techniques and findings is important when evaluating postoperative changes after treatment of Chiari I malformation.
