Abstract
The matched, head-to-head comparison of high-tensile strength tape versus suture shows a higher load to failure for tape. This may be the first step to showing the advantage of polyblend tape in clinical models as we await further cyclic load testing to extend beyond time zero in cadaveric biomechanical modeling.
