Abstract
Establishing the correct diagnosis of a growing choroidal tumor can be difficult. Clinical examination and ultrasound of a patient followed for what was thought to be a uveal melanoma. Fine-needle biopsy established the correct diagnosis. We demonstrate that fine-needle biopsy can correctly identify a very rare tumor, a myomelanocytic neoplasm. Myomelanocytic choroidal tumors can be diagnosed on fine-needle biopsy.
