Abstract
The objective of this article is to describe the CT appearance of the midfacial skeleton after surgical repair of posttraumatic Le Fort, nasoorbitoethmoidal (NOE), and frontal sinus fractures. Several of the more commonly encountered complications will also be described. Surgery after midfacial trauma is aimed at restoring both form and function. Knowledge of the principal tenets of Le Fort, NOE, and frontal sinus fracture repair is vital for radiologists to accurately assess the adequacy of treatment on postoperative CT and provide meaningful reports for the surgeon.
