Abstract
A new proinflammatory subtype of antigen-specific T<sub>H</sub>2 cell that expresses CD161 emerges as the pathogenic cell type in allergic disease and is deleted during allergen-specific immunotherapy (Wambre <i>et al</i>, this issue).
