Abstract

Scientific misconduct and, in rare situations, outright fraud are every editor's nightmare. References verify statements or claims made by authors, and proper references mitigate against hyperbole and prevarication. Arthroscopy and Arthroscopy Techniques are not immune to the possibility of scientific misconduct, which is prevalent in the scientific literature, and we are grateful to accountable authors and diligent editors and reviewers who do their best to avoid such disasters.
