Abstract
The current studies demonstrate a critical role of IL-18 in transforming IL-5 generated naïve eosinophils into the distinct inflammatory CD101<sup>+</sup>CD274<sup>+</sup> expressing mature and activated tissue eosinophils that promote disease pathogenesis.
