Abstract
CDK4/6 inhibitors have shown great potential in the new armamentarium against cancer. However, their effect as single agents is limited, and the hopes are on new combinatory strategies. Recent data suggest that inhibiting mTOR may significantly cooperate with cell-cycle arrest in a variety of cancers.<i>See related article by Song et al., p. 403</i>.
