Abstract
The analysis of age-related methylation changes in patients with colorectal cancer indicates that tumors have their origins earlier in life than previously suspected. The implication is that healthy lifestyle modifications designed to prevent colorectal cancer should be adopted early in life.<i>See related article by Luebeck et al., p. 495</i>.
