Abstract
This month we will review the latest data on prevention of incidence of venous thromboembolism (VTE), which includes both deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, in patients undergoing gynecologic surgery. Dr. Guntupalli discusses four recent publications, which are concluded with a "bottom-line" that is the take-home message.
