Abstract
Unknown. The role of screening for methicillin-resistant <i>Staphylococcus aureus</i> (MRSA) and decolonization prior to total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) remains unclear. Further data are needed to support this practice in TAA, which can be costly and logistically difficult to implement. Consensus.
