Abstract
A 60-year-old man presented to the emergency department with constant right shoulder pain of insidious onset that had lasted for 1 month. Based on the patient's history, the physical therapist's recommendations, and initial radiographs, the physician ordered magnetic resonance imaging, which revealed shoulder osteomyelitis and myositis. <i>J Orthop Sports Phys Ther 2019;49(11):865. doi:10.2519/jospt.2019.9101</i>.
