Abstract
Medulloblastoma (MB) with myogenic differentiation is a rare histologic variant. We report a case of a 7-year-old female child who presented with a left cerebellar mass. Histopathologic examination showed a cellular neoplasm comprising undifferentiated cells along with foci of bizarre giant cells. Immunohistochemistry revealed that the tumor corresponded to the MB, sonic hedgehog-activated subgroup. The case is being reported to document this rare variant of MB that had myogenic differentiation. Molecular characterization of this variant has been analyzed in few cases so far.
