Abstract
An introduction to the work of web designer and artist Nick Rougeux, who created the cover art for this edition of <i>Patterns</i>. Here he explains his method for visualizing music scores and highlights the importance of exploring data through imagery to create new ways for his audience to engage with the stories told by the numbers.
