Abstract
Antibodies against the influenza virus hemagglutinin stalk afford broad protection against antigenically drifted viruses. In this issue of <i>Cell Reports Medicine</i>, Yegorov et al.<sup>1</sup> identify that current vaccine formulations induce neutralizing stalk antibodies in children-a highly vulnerable population.
