Abstract
Lack of prospectively planned follow-up and minimal characterization of the patient population studied complicate interpretation of circulating human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA as a prognostic biomarker for patients with HPV-associated oropharyngeal carcinoma treated with curative intent.
