Abstract
Francesco Ciompi is an associate professor at Radboud University Medical Center. His group focuses on computational pathology, i.e., the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) for digital pathology and precision oncology. Here, he discusses the role of AI in his research field and the potential and challenges in AI clinical implementation.
