Abstract
Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) is a chronic inflammatory disorder that primarily affects the axial skeleton, including the spine and sacroiliac joints.<sup>1</sup> It encompasses both nonradiographic axSpA (nr-axSpA) and radiographic axSpA (also known as ankylosing spondylitis [AS]), the latter characterized by radiographic evidence of sacroiliitis.<sup>2</sup>.
