Abstract
In this issue of Cell Stem Cell, Bershteyn et al.<sup>1</sup> developed a human interneuron cell therapy that reduced spontaneous seizure activity in a mouse model of mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE). The data presented here support an ongoing phase 1/2 clinical trial for the treatment of pharmaco-resistant epilepsy in patients.
