Abstract
Patients with endometriosis often report gastrointestinal symptoms in addition to those usually considered hallmarks of the disorder (pain and infertility). Yang et al.<sup>1</sup> identify genetic risk factors that can contribute to a shared disease etiology, providing new opportunities for improvements in disease management.
