Abstract
Many aspects of human health and disease are influenced by sex as a biological variable and gender as a social construct. A recent study from <i>Nature Communications</i> reported the landscape of outcome comparisions by sex in oncology clinical trials, highlighting the need for a more thorough reporting of sex differences.
