Abstract
Opioid prescribing after carpal tunnel release (CTR) is not well understood. We assessed CTR opioid prescribing within a quality collaborative after the dissemination of guidelines. Post guidelines, the odds of receiving a prescription decreased by 67%. Quality collaboratives can change practice patterns.<b>Level of evidence:</b> III.
