Abstract
We report a patient who underwent surgery for esophageal cancer, in whom 18 F FDG PET/CT showed diffuse skeletal uptake, while 68 Ga FAPI-04 PET/MRI revealed significantly higher uptake in bone metastatic lesions. Bone lesions were visible after granulocyte-colony stimulating factor(G-CSF) administration due to lower 68 Ga FAPI-04 background uptake, suggesting its superior potential for detecting bone metastases in esophageal cancer patients after G-CSF treatment.
