Abstract
Eustachian tube balloon dilation is a novel technique for the treatment of obstructive Eustachian tube dysfunction. We report the first case of iatrogenic tympanic membrane perforation by a Eustachian tube balloon dilation device during a standard procedure. This complication underscores the critical need for a preoperative CT scan to measure the ET length.
