Abstract
Posterior shoulder fracture-dislocations are rare but can result in impaction injuries of the anteromedial humeral head. These defects are referred to as "reverse Hill-Sachs lesions." Various strategies have been described on how to best address lesions of various sizes. The goals of correction involve restoration of either the anatomy or function of the glenohumeral joint or both. The technical note details the senior author's preferred open approach to restoring humeral head sphericity for large reverse Hill-Sachs lesions.
