Abstract
We present here the response to the criticisms raised by Neusius et al. This paper contains new results and analyses which, we believe, clarify and strengthen the findings of Maggi et al. [Phys. Rev. E 109, 034402 (2024)10.1103/PhysRevE.109.034402] and make them even more general.
