Abstract
Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is a rare and distinctive hematologic malignancy, characterized by the proliferation of neoplastic lymphoid cells within the lumina of small-sized and medium-sized blood vessels. Diagnosing IVLBCL can be particularly challenging due to its atypical presentation. Herein, we describe a case of IVLBCL with multisystem involvement, in which 18 F-FDG PET/CT played a crucial role in identifying lesions in the brain parenchyma, skull, bilateral lungs, and adrenal glands-sites not detectable on conventional imaging. This case highlights the diagnostic value of 18 F-FDG PET/CT in the identification of IVLBCL, underscoring its potential as an indispensable tool in clinical practice.
