Abstract
When patients suffer from a disorder of consciousness, surrogate decision-makers commonly express hope for a miracle, a potential source of moral distress for neurologists. Fischer <i>et al.</i> apply a systematic framework for neuroprognostication to understand, delineate, and appropriately respond to distinct types of miracles.
