Abstract
A 78-year-old man with histologically confirmed lung adenocarcinoma underwent 68 Ga-DOTA-ibandronic acid ( 68 Ga-DOTA-IBA) PET/CT imaging for staging suspected osseous metastases. The examination showed no bone metastases. Unexpectedly, there was significant radiotracer uptake within the primary pulmonary lesion, suggesting affinity of the malignancy for 68 Ga-DOTA-IBA.
