Abstract
This case study presents a patient with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome who was initially diagnosed with vocal fold immobility, believed to be caused by vocal fold paralysis. Further dynamic CT imaging revealed intermittent arytenoid subluxation as the actual underlying issue. Vocal fold immobility in patients with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome may warrant further investigation prior to surgical intervention.
