Abstract
The poor survival of islets post-transplantation remains a significant challenge for type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) therapy. Vandana et al.<sup>1</sup> develop ChemPerturb-seq, which is integrated with in vivo barcoded screening to identify small molecule cocktails that enhance human beta cell and islet survival after transplantation, offering promising strategies for T1DM.
